We are now providing video consultations with the leading online GP provider, Push Doctor. This means there will be more availability for our patients to access NHS GPs via video appointment, with the option to receive prescriptions, sick notes and referrals from the comfort of your own home and at a time that suits you.
The practice remains open as normal for telephone and face-to-face consultations; video appointments are simply an additional, complimentary service for those who would prefer to be seen from home, and are usually available quicker than face-to-face appointments.

Update May 2021
From Saturday 1st May you will need an invitation from your practice in order to use Push Doctor. We’ve seen a huge uptake for the service but we need to ensure that the available appointments are used in the best way for our patients. This means that where possible, you’re seen by the most appropriate person in the first instance based on the information available to our team. For example, some patients who currently use Push Doctor to see a GP would have benefitted from seeing our First Contact Physiotherapist instead, avoiding an additional appointment. All members of our team can offer video consultations where it is clinically appropriate to do so. If the team believes that Push Doctor is the most appropriate place for your consultation, then you will be sent an invitation that enables you to book an appointment. Please note that it is important to attend your appointment and if you are unable to attend, please cancel it more than four hours before the booked appointment time where possible.
We will continue to work with patients to improve access to our practice and the services we offer and welcome feedback through our Patient Participation Group.
